Rockin' with GG

GG's new place has about a dozen rocking chairs on the front porch. Austin and GG love to rock in them.

Wheelchairs

Austin loved pushing GG in the wheelchair, and then I caught him rolling around in his baby stroller. I asked him what he was doing, and he told me that was his wheelchair!

Austin and GG are eating breakfast together Monday after Easter. GG broke her hip and had surgery.

Bugs

We went to the HMNS Butterfly Center to see 'Lois' the corpse flower. It was not nearly as interesting to Austin as these beautiful drawers full of specimens.

The Sea Slug that Didn't Get Away

This was the second sea slug that Joanie and I caught. The first one was during Austin's nap time, and we had some little kids take him out past the first sandbar so that he wouldn't wash ashore. This one was munching on the goodies embedded in seaweed, and I wanted Austin to see him. I grabbed one of his "bathtubs" (his word not mine) and captured this little guy. After Austin fed him some fresh, shrimp-filled seaweed, we let him go--unharmed.
