Spring Soccer

The soccer party was a swim party this spring.  The best story (looking back) of this party is that EVERYONE in attendance got very sick on Sunday night!  On Monday morning one of the moms emailed the rest of the team and asked if anyone else was sick, and everyone responded "yes!"  By Tuesday, first day of T-ball practice, everyone was back to 100%.

Spring Soccer 2012

This may also be the last season of soccer for several reasons:
  • It is cold and rainy in the spring (not fun)
  • Our team was {accidentally} bumped up an age group so our 3 year-olds are playing giants (not fun)
  • Some of the giants are extremely aggressive and push us over for no reason (not fun)

1st Trophy

Coach Walt and Coach Terry presented Austin with his trophy and medal.

Austin is pretty happy to have his 1st trophy.  It has a squishy, spinning soccer ball that is super fun to play with.

His medal has become a great pretend stethoscope when Austin plays 'doctor.'
