There are several dolphins around Port Isabel that have been painted by local artists. We checked out two of them on the morning that we climbed up to the top of the lighthouse.

Ink Fish
Austin and PaPa caught an Ink Fish while playing in the Gulf of Mexico.
Do you see how they are both wearing shirts? Well...PaPa wanted to put a shirt on because he thought he was getting too much sun and Austin wants to be just like PaPa so he has his shirt on too.

Sand Castle
Austin was so proud of our sand castle. He made the little balls on the tops of our "sand men."

Joan and Austin have taken this picture every year since he was 8 weeks old. Its a silly tradition, but it is amazing to see how they grow and change each year!
