The Bounce House

We went to a Birthday Party today at a bounce house, and Austin loved to climb up these 20 foot tall 'mountains' just to slide down the other side.

Christmas Eve Train Ride

Pillows

Austin was so tired of shopping with me that he wanted to go to sleep in the pillows at Macy's.

The Waterfall Mine

As soon as Austin opened this present, he wanted to go to bed (and take this with him)!!! We had to go to the store to buy him some track and a train to play.

Gingerbread House

Austin and Ella made gingerbread houses. I think it is gorgeous.

Breakfast with Santa at the Aquarium

We were relieved that there was a bench so that Austin could sit next to Santa. He has been telling us for a while that he did not want to sit on Santa's lap, but he would sit/stand next to Santa. When we walked into the aquarium Santa was sitting alone and we took a picture. After breakfast, we walked downstairs and Mrs. Claus had joined Santa. We got a second picture. It was a great experience, and Austin loved it.

African Forest at the Houston Zoo

It's better than Disney's Animal Kingdom.

High-Steppin' at the Thanksgiving Day Parade

Gotta love Madison High....
Austin does...
Vince Young does...

Can we get one?

...at the Fort Worth Stockyards

Present

Austin wrapped this box by himself. He is so proud, and he carries his present around the house!

The pants never made it on. The low for Halloween night was 78 degrees. It was warm!

Gym-tastic Halloween (Shrek and Monkey)

Austin and Blair were so excited before class started. About 15 minutes into class they were hot, and they tore off their costumes!

Pumpkin Patch

Picking out our pumpkins...it should be a cool weather thing to do, but its still 91 degrees outside! We were HOT!

All Seven

Buzz

This was the first character that he actually was excited about and ran up to all by himself. This was the moment that he got it...

Prince Charming's Regal Carousel

We rode this over and over and over...and over.

Fontenots meet the Mice

This was Austin's first time to see the mice, and you can tell by his hand in his mouth that he was quite nervous!

Dirty

Austin came up with this all on his own...
We were eating some gelato in Epcot when he looked at us and signed 'dirty.' We were all laughing because he was covered in chocolate.

Pooh and Tiger

"No, he's a TIGER." -Austin

The Duck

He really loved Donald...it was kind of weird because that was his character of choice.

Shark Bait

Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch

This is the only picture that has people in it from the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch...We had a GREAT time, and I would recommend it to anyone. They had a 'petting zoo' with goats inside. There were more baby goats than mama and papa goats...where are all the mamas and papas?

Zoo Train

Hippo

They had hippos at the San Antonio Zoo...it was a really good exhibit.

Ice Cream

We were hot and sweaty...Damon agreed that he and I would each get a cup of ice cream and share ours with Austin. I got Mexican Chocolate and Damon got some sort of rum gelato--Austin ate all of my ice cream and I got bites of Damon's!

Birdman

Austin is posing in front of the artwork in the lobby of the hotel.

Starting our Riverwalk Hike

Telephone

We went to San Antonio this past weekend and stayed in a hotel that had this phone readily accessible for Austin to play with. We have never had a home phone...so this was the coolest thing he had ever seen. He would ask us to go back to the hotel room while we were eating dinner.

How You Doin'?

Pickin' up Ella at the lions.

At the Aquarium --Tiger Exhibit

I love how they posed for this picture!

A Bunch of Monkeys

Turtle Burgers

These were Damon's birthday dinner wish...ground beef topped with cheese, wrapped in a bacon 'shell,' and hot dog bits for the head, arms, legs, and tail. We broiled them for 30 minutes, and they were very tender and juicy.

Pirate Playdate Cupcakes

These were the cupcakes that were made for Austin's pirate-themed playdate.
I love them. Austin ate one M&M and he was done!

Riding the Trike

Cookin' Dogs, Roastin' Mallows, and Makin' Dinner

We went to Lake Summerville to visit the Middletons, and Austin had a blast cooking food over the fire. This was by far his favorite part!

First Shake

We got a chocolate shake for the three of us to share...but it turned into Austin's dinner because he was not letting that thing go! He drank ALL of it!

Smile Austin! Show me your teeth!

Swimming at the pool

Austin has finally learned that he can hold on to a float or noodle and kick his legs to propel himself.

Hat!

Austin refuses to wear hats. He hates them....except for other people' hats.

Sandcastles

Bathing Boy

This is Austin's 'bathtub.' This is his word! Also, this pretty much the only water Austin will touch in Galveston.

Splish Splash

It was a HOT day yesterday, and we saw this splash pad in Herman Park right outside of the zoo. It was perfect for Austin to cool off after spending a morning with the animals!
